The Steve Strangio Scholarship

Steve came to Cal Poly as a freshman in 1980. He was integral to both the XC teams and the T&F squads. Steve was Coached by Miller (80) and Henderson (81-84).

This scholarship recognizes Steve as a teammate, friend, father, brother, son, and husband who was taken away from us way too early in 2025.

Every year the coaches will award funds in Steve’s memory to a male or female scholar athlete.
